Application withdrawn

Hi everybody

My application status changed to application withdrawn after 6 months of wait.
My documents were received at new delhi at 9-4-2010, my status changed to withdrawn can any body tell what could be the reason.
my points were around 75
noc 3142
ilets 7.5
one year experience

can any body give any suggesions

Hi Steve,
My ECAS status had also changed to Withdrawn for a short period of time last year and later I got documents request... not sure why... but it was within 1st couple of months only & not after 6 months.

Did your status change TODAY?

Also, what was the last status before this?

i waz not able to check my status since last 2 weeks. today i checked and it was written withdrawn
my last status was received by visa office

Did you try calling them?

ya i tried calling them
but they dont respond for immigration cases

It is normal. Nothing to worry. There are two status one is for initial application sent to Nova Scotia and other is for detailed application sent to local visa office. The status mentioning "withdrawn" is for initial application where as the status showing "Received by visa office" is for detailed application.

Hi Steve,

The exact same thing happened to me. I have two statuses. Application Withdrawn and Application In-Process. When I open ecas it is still the same but I already received my passport request so no need to worry I think. You can send London a case specific inquiry through email if you want.

Normally withdrawn is a status shown as result of a candidates decision to do so....

If they have to do it then they'd reject it on procedural reason based on the case....

send a case specific enquiry... as it appears from other members' responses, it could be an error... nobody's perfect.

Steve, this is normal and you need not worry. It has happened with me and more people too as you can see from the replies...
