yeah, google drive started working in the evening today. but just to be on the safe side I have shifted to skydrive which is more reliable now a days than google docs. Once all the fellows are used too of that then I will remove the signature links of google docs.

you can not check the student status on cic website. cic website shows only statuses for permanent resident applications not the temporary resident applications

so how can we know that where are we standing?

if you have applied through Gerry's service then they give you a tracking number and the procedure to track it. and more or less same goes for vistronix but that is not as accurate or reliable for status as Gerry's

I am applying for Student visa, do I need to file the temporary resident application form as well ?
how much fee I will needed to be paid, I got the deposit slip from SCB, on it there is a box for temporary visa single entry and with multiple entry, and then study permit. Do I need to pay fee for Study and Temporary resident visa or just study permit fee which is 8700 ? ??? ??? ???

HSSC 2005 passes year 74 %
BS In telecom Engineering August ,2009 passed year (3.16/4.00 cgpa)
Showed Internship from December 2009 - September 2010 in university from where I graduated. But provided no letter of internship. Have some research experience, with some publications in my field too.
MS in Electrical Engineering (course work) Jan, 2011 - October 2012 (3.35/4.00 cgpa)


Got Admission In UOIT, Oshawa, Canada for Januray 2013 session in MEng in Electrical and Computer engineering.
Applied visa on 17 july through gerry fedex and still waiting
IELTS overall score 6.5 : Listening 7.0 Reading and speaking 6.5 Writing 5.5
Bank statement : 40 Lacs Rupees of last seven months.
I applied for Masters Course as I was thinking of transferring my credits to UOIT but, I didn't stopped my education here and completed it. Plus If I would apply for Phd, It would be a tough process to communicate with professors, so I applied for MEng.

Please tell should I email Embassy or call them ???

You can't call them , just email them asking about your application status...............
