Is it a good idea to show ur uncle is settled at canada?? I mean 20000$ from my father account 12-15 k from my unmarried aunt will be shown as finance. So shud i tell abt the uncle family at canada??

1. suppose i have completed 2 years PGD from Canada, after that what is procedure or laws from which i have to walk to get Canadian passport? (Canadian passport not permanent residency)

Once you get PR, live in Canada for 2 years and if your have lived in total for 3 years in the Past 4 years then you will be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship.

Inam Bhai I have one question regarding post graduate work permit as I will be doing Master of Engineering from University of Alberta and it can be complted in 3 semesters. I am not including spriing/summer as no courses are offered in it....will i be qualified for 3 years permit...if I stretch my program to 4 semesters..Ie research project in the last semester which will be part time study..will i be considered for 3 years permit...

1. M.Eng is a two year course and you may be eligible for PGWP of 3 years but I have seen a recent case in which a student is granted PGWP for 1.5 years after he completed his Master's in 3 semester. I personally think the PGWP in this case should have been 3 years.

Don't worry yar we can always defer our admissions to the winter semesters.....its only a matter of months! Till then we can enjoy time in our beautiful homeland with friends and family

I will wait till 30th aug,and then defer to Jan intake.

I will wait atleast till the first week of september. I can join my classes latest by 17th.....so if i get my visa before that ill go

Look filing for a deferral is not an issue, since you won't be short on time if you will be joining in January. You can even do that later since you won't be joining in fall anyway, so you won't be short on time. I would suggest that if you can make it to the university by the 2nd week of classes, go for it! you won't be the only student who is late, there will be plenty....it is very usual

She is just trying to keep you safe so that u dont miss studies ............ but i know there is just orientation in first week .... and i joined late many students do .................

to confirm from university side ....... write her an email like ............. Ike ........ I know i have to be before September 5th but Canadian embassy in Islamabad some times issues visa till September 10th ....... and I dont want to miss a semester. i am sure i would be able to come and catch up with the classes I would might miss .............


then see what they say .......

Yes the university people never give you the exact picture/advice as they don't want to take any responsibility of such unofficial stuff, so that later students don't blame them......officially the classes start from the 5th and she has advised accordingly

My course is in Accounts, but Canada has excluded accountants for immigration,( As they are not in their immigration occupational list) so its mean after completing my course i will not be eligible to apply for immigration?
