Application returned due to children school record did not cover 4 yrs ???

Hi my application for citizenship was returned after 3 weeks of submission, reason for returned due to school record did not cover 4 yrs for my son? my son start to attend school 2010-2011 kindergarden, 2011-2012 grade 1, 2012-2013 grade 2, 2013-2014(present) grade 3 and it was exact 4 yrs now!!??? Any input or idea how can i explain to V.O that it was already 4 yrs now....and it was written also in the letter that my fee was returned due to incomplete application so meaning to say i need to pay again application fee? Any help please........

report card which I send :The Elementary Progress Report, used between October and November of the school year, and the Elementary Provincial Report Card, used at the end of Term 1 (sent home between January and February of the school year) and at the end of Term 2 (sent home toward the end of June of the school year).

What was the last school report card issue date for Grade-3? My wife also will apply in April and our 2 minor children last report card issued in Feb, 2014 but she is applying on April 25th, so here is 2 month we don't have any report card yet as the final one will be issued in June.

In that case, I have 2 option: She can attach a explanatory letter stating that children final report card will be in June and the last one we received from school is dated Feb 2014. Or, We have to collect a letter from school mentioning that their next report card for academic year will issued in June 2014.

However, CIC also mentioned that a letter from school is not accepted as School Record.. So I am also bit confused here. Any one has the similar situation and has no problem on accepting application by CIC?

Actually i did not attach report card for my son the one that i attached is the letter come from the school that my son was enrolled in that school and attendance record only so maybe they are looking for report cards instead of letter

So your son in Grade-3, my younger daughter also in Grade-3 now. We got the last Report Card issued in Feb,2014. What about your son's report card? when the last one is issued?

FEB 2014 also, since i received the secord report card last friday only, so im going to submit that too

Does anyone provided children report card issued prior 3-4 month from the application date? From one report card issue date to another is 3-4 month (if issued in Feb next one will be on end of June). However some one applies mid of June will not get the final report card. So no choice but to apply with last received report card from school.. Any experience?
