Greetings all,
Read lots of threads here and want to thank all contributors for educating. Couldn't find some relevant info, so would appreciate if experienced folks could reply.
I am unclear about the following on the latest citizenship application form for adults, CIT 0002.
1. For questions 3B and 3C (Name), is it okay to put "N/A" in the text fields because they don't apply to me?
2. For question 6F (Work/Education):
a. is it okay to put "work part-time" under Work/Education and "web support for XXXXX" under Employer or school attended along with corresponding from/to dates?
b. is it okay to put the date I first entered Canada under From (YYYY-MM) along with "homemaker" under Work/Education and "N/A" under Employer or school attended?
c. do I need anything to elaborate or support my entries?
d. did you do something different when you applied, if your case was similar to mine?
Just FYI, I have been a homemaker since day one in Canada but started working part-time from home in 2015. I am not employed by any employer. I provide freelance web development services to a company on hourly pay. They gave me T4A in 2015 which I filed to CRA as self-employed business income. I also receive UCCB (now Child benefits) as well as rental income (shared with spouse).
3. For question 6G (Child Education), is it okay to put my child's date of birth under From (YYYY-MM) and "N/A" under school name and city for the period when he/she was not at school age (ie, birth until starting junior kindergarten)?
Much appreciate your help!
