Hey,

Mine didn't change to "in process" until the day I got my PPR. So to answer your question, yes it is normal to not have "in process" after 15 months. You can order GCMS notes I think which will show you where you are at in the process stage e.g which stages you have passed, which they have not started working on etc. This won't make the process move any faster at all but might give you some peace of mind. Many others on here have ordered the notes so they can tell you how to do it.

My own advice would be to sit tight and just try and be as patient as possible.

Hope it comes soon mate.

Hi Fenster,

Thanks for the information. I see you have similar timeline to myself, only that you got your file transferred to Seattle. How did they inform you about the file transfer?I got my AOR in Nov 2011 from Ottawa CPP, does that mean my file was transferred there?

Thanks!

I received an email from Seattle as soon as it was transferred. I think anyone that got transferred to Seattle received an email about it. I'm not too sure about how the whole Ottawa CPP process works but I'd imagine that your file is probably with that other batch of files that were transferred during the summer to Ottawa. There are other people on here that can definitely help you out more with the info that you need. I think they were waiting until all the files had been transferred before working on them again and had a deadline set of Aug 31st but again, I could be wrong with that.....I'm just going by info I've read on here. I think most of the Mar/Apr/May 2011 applicants will probably begin to see a lot of movement within the next 2 months.

Any idea on how long it takes after that to receive back PP?

My time line:

Hi all,

I got my CSQ in Quebec end of 2010.

I sent my Application to Buffalo and later on it was transferred to case processing pilot ottawa.

Application received: May 26 2011
Medical requested: November 14 2011
Medical Result received: Late 2011, no exact time displayed.

Since then I haven't heard anything from them, I called CIC but was told they don't have any information regarding the status, and told me to contact CPP directly through Email. I have sent a couple email inquiries but no response either. It has been 15 months and the average processing time is 15 months on the CIC website.

What else can I do? Is it normal to not have "in process" in CIC status after 15 months?

Much appreciated!

Hi all,

Just want to know if there are still many May 2011 applicants waiting for PPR.

Thanks,

Ep

I am an April, 2011 applicant with file transferred to Ottawa. Just wondering if any of you paid your RPRF fee in advance i.e before CIC actually asking for it.

I heard stories that CIC might process faster if you pay your RPRF in advance. I am not sure if Ottawa would process my cheque.

In recent posts, i mostly see Seattle folks getting their PPR. Has anyone from Ottawa received PPR recently?

When was your file transferred to Ottawa? Have you got any GCMS? if when and what is your secondary VO?

I have no idea as to when my file was transferred. I got my GCMS about a month ago. It only had Buffalo as my processing centre and no mention of Ottawa. However, I emailed Ottawa to update my file with new passport details for which they emailed back the acknowledgement. I am waiting for my second GCMS notes..

Did you pay your RPRF? I am thinking of mailing them a money order. The email replies from Ottawa have an address on their signature section. Do you think it is ok to send them a check in advance?
