Application in final stages, need some urgent inquiries please

Hi all

I applied from New Delhi office, currently residing in Saudi Arabia on work visa, my process is in the final stages. The only pending stuff are Passport submission me and my family to them, PCC, RPRF, updated additional information. In this regard, I have list of concerns.. appreciate if some one can help me out to resolve ASAP since i am running out of time.

1. How will i send passports to them from Saudi Arabia? i heard we cannot send through courier moreover how much time do they take to process visa and return back? isn't it risky to send all passport (old and new) to them?
2. They asking me again for PCC whereas i send them once,,,,is there a validity issue in it ??
3. My medical expiring on 13th Jan-12 and they want my passport, PCC, RPRF ASAP. is there an issue if it delays? what if i dont submit before medical expires? are there any extension given in this case?
4. Do i also need to make first landing before medical expire? Can i alone as a PA make first landing and then lets say after 8 to 10 months my family make first landing (ufcourse in this case medical period will expire)?
5. They keep on sending me reminders on every request, but all letters i receive through postal mail reached after period lapse or few days remaining which is really difficult to fullfill necessary requested requirement. Anything happens if i don't follow there deadlines?

1. Can you send your passports through a friend to send to NDVO? Usually gulf applicants can send their passports to London VO (if applied through this VO) but this may not hold true for NDVO. NDVO takes anywhere between 1-6 months to return the passport so I wouldn't recommend sending them in for that long. You can send NDVO an enquiry to ask them what you can do.
2. PCCs should be less than 3 months old when they reach the VO. After this they are valid for one year.
3. You would need to re-do the medicals. Also the visa which would be issued will expire one year since the date of medicals, so if you send the passports now and receive the visa you would need to land before 13th Jan 2012.
4. You and all family members who are part of your application need to land before 13th Jan 2012. If not, you would have to start the entire PR process again from the beginning.
5. If you do not follow their deadlines, they can refuse your application. A negative decision can be made.

first of all thanks for the info.
1. now since i already approach to NDVO, i have no option but to route them for this. with regard to the timeline you mentioned below which 1-6 months is too long. how can i keep my passport with them for this long period? i asked them last time but they didnot reply on the timeline to process. what should i do in this case.
2. If the PCC is valid for one year after it reach them, then it means the PCC i sent earlier should be valid for them, why are they asking again for it.
