Application FSC-1 rejected

Hello All,

I am looking forward for a great help and an expert suggestion from you guys.

I am very sad and very depress after hearing rejection reply of my immigration application from Sydney office. Reason for rejection was mentioned by Sydney office --' the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the NOC, including all the essential duties'

I applied my application on Apr 14th, 2009 and now it is rejected. I would like to know- When can I apply next time?
I have doubt that the way I have given my job duties description are not sync with NOC : 0213.

hi abihishek,
sorry to hear abt ur application but dont get dishearted.I know its very easy to say to others.you can apply again immigiately but now draft your duties accordingly becoz it ur profession its very difficult.u will get the refund a little later so u have to invest again now.did they say in their letter that they have not kept any record of ur application and returned all the documents ?also have they given the points calculation on ur application?pls explain.

They have not mentioned anything such as keeping my documents or return and point calculation. They have mentioned that I will get my refund in several weeks.

My question is,
If I change my job duties description in another way (that would be sync with NOC -0213) and submit application once again in future (such as 2- 3 months), Will it create any problem on my profile and my application?

I also request to other seniors to help me.

So sorry to hear about this, Abhishek. I've noticed from your posts on the forum how well-prepared you were, even asking questions on the second stage processes. I'm sure it must've come as a shock to you. Well, if you give a little bit more information about why you think that your 'job duties description are not sync with NOC : 0213,' maybe we all can try to help out. Did you have enough points otherwise to get through? Usually what I've heard is they return all your documents to you, have they not done that here?

Try to think clearly if re-applying would help you or would it put you through all this tension a second time over for nothing. And then, if you still have the time and money to apply a second time, go for it.

The advice from Charmeuse is solid. I would follow what he/she has said.
Best is to figure out why it is different and then think whether if it is worth going through all this again.
Also don't forget there is AINP and other PNPs as well as Quebec. Studying in Canada is also a good idea but I hear funding is low so might have to be a self-funded student.

I think, what they want to see on Job duties (wrt to NOC-0213) and what I mentioned, had some differences. They did not consider my job duties wrt to NOC 0213 and rejected it. As per Sydney's letter, they haven't mentioned any thing about returning of document, so they might keep applicant application for future verification.

I would like to know, when will I eligible to re-apply again in this case?

Meena, I would suggest you to read very carefully NOC : 0213 (Manager), 2174 (Analyst) and 2173 (Software Engg)..and then after list down your job duties ...Dont overlap duties that comes under 2174/2173 on 0213

Mine was rejected too. I applied in March 20, and got mail yesterday with rejection letter. I am very depressed. I am an international student in toronto since Jan09. I have enough points, but I put my experience under 2172, and they did not consider it as one of the 38 job list. Can I change my job description and submit again? Please advice.

hi
your job description / duties almost matched with the duties listed under 0213.
many times i discuss this issue with other people that 0213 is reserve for "managers"
the key word is manager.

in 0213 there are two things:

job title

job description

both must match.

job title is more important than description.

thats what i think.
