I am just reviewing my application before I mail it out on Friday and for one of my address, the previous address ends Aug 2017 and the new one starts Sept 2017. will this be an issue? sounds silly but I don't want my application returned over this.

I landed as PR end of August, stayed at an airbnb for a week then moved into my apartment beginning of September. It says to not include hotels or what not so I didn't include the airbnb address.

If it states not to inlcude airbnb then not including it is fine. You can probably state this in an explanation letter with your application.

hi @rajkamalmohanram
Thanks wonderful and enlightening piece.
I have a question on my own application
So,
- I had a valid study permit from Dec 2016 to Dec 2018
-got my Post graduate work permit from Feb 2018 - Feb 2021 (started using PGWP even while my study permit had not expired)
-got PR in Aug 2018.

The question is:
when filling the physical presence calculator, in the section for time spent as Canadian temporary resident
do I only select international student from dec 2016 - aug 2018
or
select international student from Dec 2016-feb 2018 and pgwp from Feb. 2018 to Aug. 2018. (If I choose to add the PGWP, which option do i choose on the drop down? temporary worker or temporary resident permit holder ?

Can you

Can you confirm what date was your application received and stamped at IRCC ?

Also, what date was printed on the letter attached with your application stating that you provided wrong evidence of English language ?

It was stamped as received Aug 11th, the day after I got the delivery date tracking by Canada post.

Oct 14 was the date on the letter stating that I provided wrong evidence of the English language.

Hello guys,

I am wondering if someone could help/guide me with my situation .
I along with my spouse and kids (8 years and 3 years ) received pr in November 2018 .My wife and kids came to Canada when they received their pr in November 2018.
However, I have been in Canada since September 2012 as student and worker (PGWP holder ).Therefor , I meet the requirement to be physically present in Canada and I am planning to submit my citizenship application in this month .
I am wondering if I can apply/submit applications for kids as well ? or they have to wait one more year to meet the requirement of physically present in Canada?

Select Studen from dec 2016-feb2018
PGWP from feb 2018-Aug2018
This is the difference between WP and a temporary resident permit holder

A TRP is a document that authorizes a person who is inadmissible or does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act or Regulations either as a temporary resident or as a permanent resident to enter or remain in Canada.

Note: A work or study permit, or a Temporary Resident visa is not a Temporary Resident Permit. These documents are clearly marked as visas or work and study permits. You are not a temporary resident permit holder unless you are inadmissible and you have been issued a document specifically identified as a Temporary Resident Permit. TRPs are only issued in exceptional circumstance and at the discretion of the processing officer. A TRP may be cancelled at any time.

Thanks for your response , but the problem is that , there is no option for PGWP in the drop down. The options are student , protected person , temporary worker and temporary resident permit .

I will go with a temporary worker and add a LOE.
