MPs have a separate line to contact IRCC, so they won't have to wait 30-40 min to speak to a person and you won't have to wait 30 days for your notes.

Order the notes anyways. Some MPs have proven to be completely useless. Others are very helpful, but you don't know until you reach out. No point in further delaying ordering notes, may as well just do it since there's a wait to get them anyway.

i agree, the notes will also contain more information regarding the case. another option (which is rarely productive but is still worth a try) is to submit a case specific inquiry through the web form.
