Dear All

If we do simple mathematics earlier 67% was required 67points in 100 point based system

Now in EE 1200 points if we leave 600 points of job or PNP aside

67% of 600= 402

We have to increase our points beyond 400 if we are planing to get visa without job offer or PNP.

I dont understand what it means. I think its a wrong idea. Don't mix Express Entry with Mathematics. hahaha

I have a score of 348 should I fill up the EE form ? or just re do the IELTS and try to get CLB 9 ? IS there anyway where we can fill thr EE form and later update the IELTS score ?

Yes, you can go back and update your profile with new IELTS scores.

frankly speaking no chance...it might feel bad but thats reality.

express entry isonly for people who either studied in canada or who are working there...otherwise you may be newton or einstein but cannot get in Canada.

you can get US/UK/Australia/Germany/France..but not canada

There would be many ways of understanding it. Its been 9 months since EE was launched and the lowest CRS score has ever dropped has been 450. Unless it drops another 50 points, an individual under 400 can only hope..

Can job or interview call can be arranged through some job portals or consultancies?

I also want to tell you that I have seen some people appearing for such interviews though SKYPE.

Hope it can be an alternate way to get the VISA....AGREE ?

Not true. All you need is good education (bachelor or master degree), work experience, age up to 35 (score decreases for 5 points each year after you turn 30) and excellent English (CLB9+ for each ability). That's it.

do not agree with you...i myself am researching this express entry since last 9 months.This is just false hope.

I myself am within 35 with B.Tech degree and 8+ IELTS.....can u tell me how many people out of 100 get 9+IELTS may be 0.25 per 100 people....so impossible.


I am sure even ur points might be coming from either canada experience or job there.

Do not give false hope..as we all know the reality...no hope below 450,at least not for people below 400 in any case

lessons learnt..if u do not have canada experience or canada education do not waste money for express entry annd IELTS stuff.


Canada express entry is for people..who r in anyways having connection with canada.you may be exceptionalin ur field..but canada does not wants u..all they want is those who spent some money/time in canada.

I agree.

If you see mid-year report (July) then 14500 candidates already had points between 400-450 AND each passing week FSWP is seeing addition of 1500 more applications.

Also, Celing has not reached Provincial nomination's from Sasketchwan / Ontario / Nova Scotia adding another 5000-7000 candidates.

PNP's will re-open this January for Birtish Columbia etc...

Hence chances of points going down below 400 are slim, I guess wont do down below 420.
