I just learned today that my FSWO application is with the Vienna office. Anyone with some news of recent activity from here?

I sent a webform and an email to the Vienna office and it took about 4 weeks to get a response. That seems to be a pretty standard response time across the board, so I wouldn't be surprised if they take at least a month to reply.

Hello, I met my partner when he was participating in a student exchange to Canada.... He is 17 and I am 27... It is legal according to Canadian and German law. We met each other 5 months ago. When he was done with his 4 month stay here in Canada, we both flew to the US together to visit his family. Now he is back in Germany and we are moving in together in 5 weeks in Germany.... Once he turns 18 we would like to get married and fill out an immigration application so he can move to Canada so it is easier for both of us.... He is currently a nursing student and will be 18 in two months.... Does anyone have any tips or experience on how I can tell immigration this? I have read that age differences over 7 years can cause problems.... And this is a very special case after all....

I am sponsoring my wife, and the file has moved to Vienna. She got a decision made in ecas back on July 16, which is almost nine weeks, and no news from them. I have submitted a web form, gcms notes, email but no response. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks!

From what i have read on different threads and groups, people usually get PPR 2-3 days after a decision has been made on ecas. You case is not normal. Did you try to call them to find out what is the problem? Vienna VO is one of the slowest Visa offices in the world when it comes to processing sponsorship application.Alots of files has been transferred to Vienna vo for more than 5 months now and no single update from them. I pray your wife ppr soon. Please, can u share with us your timeline? Thanks

Unfortunately no one knows exactly how long you have to wait before getting a communicate from them, as applications has been there for more than 5 months without any information from the Vienna vo. That’s the sad reality unfortunately. What’s your timeline?
