I am only asking this ....emiiuki said:DDOR is serbian insurance company.
If you plan to stay in Alberta, you qualify for health insurance from day one, you don't have to wait 3 months like in other provinicies. If you need medical help before you obtain a health card, you must pay for it out of your own pocket, but can refund it later. Also, if you apply for the card, use the doctor's service and leave the province for more than 6 months, you have to pay them back that amount.
Sorry, I can't provide the link because I read it a long time ago, but you can google it yourself, probably in their official web-site.
but what kind of control could they have that they know you left the province since with PR you can move freely within Canada?
Also since we all do not have property (flat, house) on our own we have to ent one and majority of apartments have minimum rent time for 6 months or 1 year (correct me if I am wrong) which is not-so-good for us especially in the first few weeks/months at least untill some permanent job is secured....
