One info for the people who want to pay online "Right of Permanent Resident Fee"

I had an issue with online payment.
Payment was rejected by CIC and my money was reserved by financial institution.
I complained to the bank and they will return my money, so now it`s OK.

Second try of online payment was successful.

What you need to do/know before online payment:

- Use Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari. Do not use Chrome. Some issues with Java platform.

"We have detected you are using Google Chrome and might be unable to use the Java plugin from this browser. Starting with Version 42 (released April 2015), Chrome has disabled the standard way in which browsers support plugins. We strongly recommend Java users consider alternatives to Chrome as soon as possible. Instead, we recommend Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari as longer-term options"

- Clear all browsing data, cash memory etc. from the browser.

- Update the browser.

- When you type your required credit card info into the online payment form be sure that you type exact address which you provided to your bank in the time of issuing the credit card.
Not the address from Immigration Application which you provided to CIC. I typed wrong my house number. Instead No 1 which was in my Bank I typed No 001 from my passport.
Also same zip/postal code and the name of the city exactly as you provided to the bank.
Otherwise payment may be unsuccessful as mine was.

Just to report that we received PPR 2 days ago We are currently on our vacation so we will make the payment and send our passports late next week once we get back to Serbia.

considering that we're PNP, this is superfast!!

I have couple of questions:

1) they're asking for a proof of address change; will verified VOID from bank with address on it be enough or?

2) how long approx did you guys wait after Med Done for RPRF request?

3) what's next then, considering we're from Croatia so they're not gonna ask for passports, right?

1.) any bill (eg. utility bill, phone bill, or bank statement) should be enough
2.)in my case, it was super long... i did ME on may 23rd, and got rprf of july 7th... many others waited only few days... my point is, it is super unpredictable!
3.) no, after you pay rprf, the copr will arrive to your home address. it should happen within two weeks

what would you do about health insurance for the first three months? I researched insurance companies in Serbia and it's a quite a big price for both individual and family packages. How much medications can we take with us?
Any thoughts?

As we are going to stay in Alberta, we don't have concerns regarding health insurance.
But, I've asked DDOR to give me quote for two weeks when i land (because I'll go back home and won't apply for medical card) and it was something less than 30 EUR for one person.
It is not much compared to costs which may occure if something happens to you.

I had used CVAC Dusseldorf for passport transmission last week. I have check with them today and they told me that the passports were returned from Vienna VO and have been dispatched back to us. However, I still don't see the fourth line. When exactly it is being updated, before the issuance of visa or after it. Can anyone clarify this.

But, I've asked DDOR to give me quote for two weeks when i land (because I'll go back home and won't apply for medical card) and it was something less than 30 EUR for one person.
It is not much compared to costs which may occure if something happens to you.

Thanks. In DDOR it's about 400 eur for three months for family of four. Tomorrow I'll check Dunav. Other companies are much more expensive.

DDOR is serbian insurance company.
If you plan to stay in Alberta, you qualify for health insurance from day one, you don't have to wait 3 months like in other provinicies. If you need medical help before you obtain a health card, you must pay for it out of your own pocket, but can refund it later. Also, if you apply for the card, use the doctor's service and leave the province for more than 6 months, you have to pay them back that amount.
Sorry, I can't provide the link because I read it a long time ago, but you can google it yourself, probably in their official web-site.

Hm, we are considering taking some private medical insurance in Canada for first 3 months. Didn't consider any domestic ones (in Serbia). I will check with friends who are already in Canada which insurance they took but I think it's some Canadian company.
