Hi all,

It would be great if someone could provide a brief response to this question.

I am sponsoring my wife to come to Canada. We sent our application on January 20, 2015. The current status indicates that the application has been received and that medical results have been received. There is nothing else to indicate that they started reviewing the application.

When we first applied, we indicated that we had not been on a honeymoon but that we were planning on doing so. In the meantime, we did go on a honeymoon a few months later. I was wondering whether it is a good idea to submit that additional information, along with pictures, and mail it to the VO in Vienna? I would also other proof of the genuine relationship in the same envelope as I always fear we did not include enough when we applied.

From your question I can conclude that you doubt that you send enough evidence to support /to represent your relationship to the VO Vienna. Haven't you hqd to fill some forms in which there were listed documents that you are obligated to disclose in your app?

people, when looking for tickets, make sure you check out klm.com, especially you guys with kids!
i've had great experiences with them in previous years, and just found out that their ticket prices are not much different in comparison to condor.com or flightnetwork or other cheap tickets sites, but are far far far safer and professional. make sure you look up return tickets!

did they send via registered post ? I still haven't received nine. I am in Netherlands I sent it 10 days back. Assuming they sent it on 8th or9th July when can I receive pp? Thnkx

I sent passport on 1st july, thery received on 2nd july..they stamped and sent it seems on 9th july in vienna..

We sent all kinds of documentation including evidence of consistent communication (Facebook, Skype, Viber, etc.), evidence that I had sent her money via Western Union, pictures, including pictures from our wedding, etc. However we did not send the content of any messages we exchanged, and like I said we wrote that we would go on a honeymoon in the next few months.

as far as i'm familiar with this, passports usually get back within 10 days from the day they've sent it. so if they've sent it on the 9th, they should be with you by 19th of july, latest. probably even earlier. i think they send it by regular post, and i haven't heard that anyone had problems with it, i mean, haven't heard of cases where passports got lost or something. they always reach its destination. i'm sure you'll get it next week.
