Viena does not send RPRP together with MR. First, you get your medicals done, and afterwards they will send you RPRP. I got MR on 3rd February. But, I have not finished it since I am pregnant so no x-rays for me. That is why I can not answer how long it takes. But, in my opinion about from medicals received to visa on passports will take about a month.

Just received medical request (MR) today. I have already booked appointment for Thursday and according to a physician the results will be uploaded in one week from examination. So i guess in Friday next week everything should be in VO and they will start background check.
Only thing is that I did not receive RPRF request with medical, I am not sure if that is normal fir Vienna VO because if you look at other offices they all are sending RPRF together with MR.
Did anyone receive RPRF with MR or if not how much time it takes to recive it after MR is done and uploaded? 8)

Grats, did you just update the spreadsheet with passport request ? :) Hope you will get that very soon ;)

If you are asking me then no, I have not received passport request, just MR.
I have contacted couple of people that already passed through the procedure and they all confirmed that RPRF is separate in Vienna VO and that it should come after medical have been received.

Did MR and second line appear in the same day?

No, it was first 2nd line and then about a week latter I have received medical request in email.

Hi
In my case, I got PER on 17.06.2014 and got the second line on ECAS on 26.01.2015. After about a week, I got a request for the resubmission of Schedule A which I had submitted the very same day via email. Since then, I have not heard about anything. Its almost a month now.

Regards
Ali

got my passport with the visa stamped the 27th of Feb.

So the whole process took 686 days (documents received by CIO to visa received).

@ calgarypr I was just saying that you updated the fsw2014 spreadsheet with passport request, not MR :)
I don't have second line so I shouldn't expect MR this week I guess :( I've sent mail 1 month ago and they told me that my application is under review, but still waiting.

Grats Movado and good luck

I know, I did not do the update, someone else did so I asked them again to change it.

I think that your background checks are already done. There is no sense in VO for sending MR if you don't pass security checks. Sometimes they ask for new police certificates at the time of MR but they start the initial checks once they finish the eligibility assessment review.

I got MR first (second line on ECAS appeared the day after) and once all of us finished medicals (we didn't go together since we live in different countries), 3 weeks after that I got RPRF request. Medicals received status showed up 13 days after they were completely done.

Since we don't have to send passports, Decision made status appeared almost 2.5 months later (followed by the short email from VO) and COPR letters arrived after that. There are no rules. Every application and every applicant is specific and no time line will match with the other.

Good luck :)

Alta and movado,
Thank you for your imput. However, i believe that the FSW 2014 are treated differently than FSW 2013 applicants. 2013 once haven't had as much luck as 2014, since the second one mainly finished the whole process within 8 months, if everything was in order. 2013 applicants, got in the middle of strike, above all the hassle about the program. Luckily, you have finally gotten your visas and are ready to go! Good luck with a new start!

In my opinion they are sending out request in a bulk. Looks like they are waiting for documentation to pile up and then they send for example MR request to 10 people. Maybe I am wrong.
Looking at the timeline of previous applicants from May, they have received RPRF couple of days after their medical results have been checked and approved, and then couple of days latter they received PPR. I hope it will be like that now also.
When I compare to other VO, it seams that Sao Paulo is working the fastest and New Delhi is even working on weekends.
Either way, I will let you guys know what happens next, tomorrow is my medical and I believe that everything will be ok.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll have your passport stamped in no time!

Medical finished. It took 1 hour for 4 persons, 2 adults, 1 toddler and a baby.
Now we have another round of waiting till visas.
