awesome! i believe that all of us from vienna office will be processed latest by the end of july, therefore, airplane tickets search can easily start...
oh, yes, on a bit more serious note, i don't know if you guys are aware of IOM? they serve serbia too, i know that croatia is not covered, a friend already told me, but IOM can provide assistance with everything about relocating... including plane tickets for a much cheaper price. i don't know about macedonia and bosnia, but it's worth trying. last time i spoke with a lady was august last year, and she offered me an adult ticket for USD 690, and 560 for kids and 150 for kids without a seat. this is budapest - toronto flight. so it's worth trying.

Belgrade is now cheaper than Budapest.
Belgrade-Calgary 550 EUR in slow season.

They've gone up since the last time I've checked. Mid May 563 EUR round trip (they are much cheaper than one way).

i find this one with a very good offers too, check it out http://www.flightnetwork.com/

Yes, they all have similar prices +/- 20 EUR.
Belgrade is cca 30% cheaper than Budapest now (probably since they've sold Belgrade airport last year). Before that Budapest was 30% cheaper so it's almost half a price now.
If you have more than one stop, you should be careful that the other one is not in the USA since they requeset for a visa, no matter that you are not going to leave the airport.
Also, you have to do the landing procedures in the first canadian city that you reach. So, if it is not your designated city, you might lose time (and the connecting flight) if there are a lot of people in the immigration line.

What is that IOM?
I'm trying to find what do they do, but I can't. I think they perform medical examinations for immigration and what else?

OMG, we haven't got MR yet and you are talking about flight. You made me laugh really, cheers ;)

One's got to be prepared ;)
I totally understand you, I'm frustrated just as much as you are, but what can we do?!?
I've sent two e-mails to Vienna and they haven't answered a single one. Other people received answers few days after mails, not me!
There in no one you can complain to, they make a final decision after all, that's the irony.....
