Hi, I have a little complicated situation. I was working in Canada when I have send my FSW application for PR and I had bank statement from BMO that I have $12000 CAD. Unfortunately company where I have worked was not able to secure LMIA for me and I am about to leave Canada soon. In the mean time I have received AOR but also to late to do the bridging of WP.
Now, what I would like to do is to withdraw money from BMO and bring it home and put it in my bank account at home since there is uncertainty that I will receive PR (like everyone else there is no 100% guaranty) and I don't want to go back to Canada to close my account. I want to close my account right now and not to wait until the PR decision is made because if it is negative, it would require one more trip to Canada and back. Is it ok to do that and send new POF to visa office?
Did anyone have to show the POF in the middle of the process, because if not, I will just deposit money in the bank and wait for a decision.
Please advise, I really don't know what to do.

If I may ask, why is it too late to apply for BOWP? (You say you are in Canada still, so I guess your WP is still valid, so that's why I'm asking).

Hi Comix - we don't have a new Canadian address yet so no. You?

No. I have only my original address for now.

The COPRs will be sent my regular mail as far as I am aware. Our lawyer says it can take "awhile" whatever that means!

I will update when we receive ours - please do the same!

Don't worry. I will update at the same moment :)

Reading about other experiences on this forum I can see that in some cases people received COPRs from 1 day up to 3 months after ECAS showed "decision made" so who knows ::)

Yes but I am now under visitor status and I received AOR to late to apply for BOWP.

Laura86, can you share your timeline. When did you apply and receive AOR, when was the file transfer? Did they ask you for something else?

This is my timeline: App.Rec. 20/05/2014 PER 08/09/2014 MR 12/11/2014 MD 18/11/2014 RPRF&PPR 04/12/2014
They didn't ask for any additional documents.

So after my wife and me did medicals in early September and updated children information to the application in late August with all other updates, we were expecting medical request for kids soon after.
Instead, we got RPRF request for the two of us a month after, which (as much as happy we were) scared me that maybe they missed to include the kids in further visa processing.
Almost 2 months after RPRF request and 3 months after children documents/other forms and PCC update was done, the kids finally got the invitation for medical exam.

I guess every time additional family member is being included in the application it takes a while to process it. Some immigration consultants say that although kids don't have to submit PCC, their names still go through the system screening, as there are number of things that can prevent the kids from being able to leave their native country (social service issues, custody, etc.....).

The medical exam has now been completed, and with RPRF previously paid, now we have to wait for medical results and final decision and hope it's going to be positive with COPR.
