@Natasha this is a positive response from CIC which means your application is now eligible for further processing by the visa office you selected in your application. All you need to do now is to enrol in University of Patient :) :) :) because the Visa Office treat each application according to the date of reception and looking at the trend of this forum, old applicants received their medical request at least a year after their PER which you just received. I suggest you exercise patience until the VO ask you to do so, unless you have any information or document to be updated on your file like marriage, new born baby, change of name, jobs etc..

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class. The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class. Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office. Your application has now been placed into processing.

Could you please help me to understand, what would be next step, and how much time it will take??

Is there anything which I can do to speed up the process?

Thanks
Natasha.

hello all and congratulations to ones who get medical, passport requests and finally visas.

I am FSW 2014 applicant and I got PER in August already. it looks like process is going faster this year in other visa offices. Do you think that Vienna office can improve their speed and we will start getting medical requests this year? ;D

good luck to all of us!

I am also a FSW 2014 applicant and received my PER recently. It seems that Vienna VO is not as fast as other VOs and it takes a year at least to get medical from them. I am not aware of anybody who got it earlier.
Did you receive AOR from them or how did you get to know that your documents are with them?

I don't think that Vienna office sends AOR. I assume that first notification we are going to receive is e-mail with medical forms, if everything is ok with our application of course.

I have received a kind of AOR from Vienna Office, 2,5 months after applying and 20 days after receiving PER from CIC. You can find it somewhere here in this forum thread...

I got Medical exactly after 2 years and 5 days after my application has been received by CIC (on 19th of Sepmtber 2014)...

Does anyone knows what is included in Medicals? I have a 2 years old daughter and I don't know is there any examination that she will be engaged.

Thnx in advance...

Our 2 year old just took the medical all they did was:

- measure her head
-measure her height
-weigh her
- listened to her chest
-looked in her mouth
- asked me some general questions about her health.

It was a breeze

Good luck!

We have been asked to pay the RPRF!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Anyone else from a visa exempt country get asked for this with no mention of passports??

Issue being that I am today posting my husband's passport off for renewal and it will take at least 6 weeks. My concern is that if we pay the RPRF now they will simply mail us the COPR and it will expire in January 2015 (when my husband's currrent passport expires).

Any idea if the above scenario is likely or if they will ask for copy passports after we pay the fees (in which case we could respond and say that passport away for renewal)?

Thanks in advance and congratulations to everyone getting good news at the moment!!

I got some great news:
we got our MR today!!!

We are so happy! :)
I am a bit worried because they didn't mention updated Shedule A form, but they asked to send a copy of Military booklet for my houseband ??? . Also, no bank statement is requested, or my pay stubs ..

e-CAS status is not updated yet.
