@Natasha this is a positive response from CIC which means your application is now eligible for further processing by the visa office you selected in your application. All you need to do now is to enrol in University of Patient because the Visa Office treat each application according to the date of reception and looking at the trend of this forum, old applicants received their medical request at least a year after their PER which you just received. I suggest you exercise patience until the VO ask you to do so, unless you have any information or document to be updated on your file like marriage, new born baby, change of name, jobs etc..
Miriam_Natasha said:This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class. The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class. Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office. Your application has now been placed into processing.
Could you please help me to understand, what would be next step, and how much time it will take??
Is there anything which I can do to speed up the process?
Thanks
Natasha.
