can any one know that is it possible to get health insurance from Pakistan which is also valid in canada so that we would not get any insurance in canada????

You must have a letter from CIC

You have to take appointment (at least in Lahore)

Take Rs. 5600
couple of copies of passport (page 1 & 2).
Original Passport (if already submitted it with the application then bring you NIC)
No photos required. Its a e-test, they will take your picture themselves.

Reach there on time i.e. if your appointment is 9:00am be there at 8:55am and get token asap but respect others. If someone is there before you for the same time e.g. 9:00am, let him/her go first.

Once you have token you will be given instruction from each station, just follow them.
They will help you and guide you so don't be afraid.

1.Chest X-ray

Nurse Station
2.Eye test
3.BP check it think
4.Weight and height check
5.Blood sample
6.Urine sample

Doctor checkup
7.throat check I think, he was checking something in my mouth with a light
8.chest check

And Done.

After 2-3 hrs you are done and you go back home.

Whats with Lakehead university? re-medical. Are they all ill or lakehead is just too cautious. Or its just a coincidence?

Its just a coincidence I guess that S4F and I both had the same kind of problem and we both were going for Lakehead, otherwise, its nothing with Lakehead I suppose coz the medical is the same for all the applicants.

Yup, RKAZI is right, thats why I marked myself red as for Sep session I cant get a visa, but still not rejected , may be after 90 days I can get my visa. INSHA ALLAH

@Effi: Dont worry about your medical, if there was any problem, they would have told you right away for X-Ray and a few days later if anything was wrong for blood/urine tests. If you were not told anything, its a good sign. No news is good news regarding medical at least .

In my case they saw some pulmonary nodules in my X Ray and asked me to do sputum culture test to rule out TB. They would perform another X-Ray after 90 days to see if the nodules grow in size.

And I would get the results of my sputum cultures tests after 42 days.

Thats all for my case, need to know anything, do let me know. And Good luck for your visa bro.

HI,
you will receive an E.mail from CHC regarding your medical.......and if you required further documents. anyway you should applied online. why did you apply paper based? as its low process and if you are going for September then you have very less time.

I got a leter from chc on 11 june a form was there asking my previous travel history. I answered them and it reached there on 14th june. Since then there is no reply. Should i email them? Or should i wait? Was it a good sign?

I got my passport today AlhamduliLLAH with the visa in it
and my validity is till 1-06-2015

when we reach Canada the officials will give us the study permit
Will its validity be the same as the TRV validity ( 1-06-2015) or different ? ....

Those who already have had their medical tests. Can you please tell me if I want a copy of my test results for myself, in addition to those which will be sent to CHC Islamabad, can I get them?

Also I came across a case last year when embassy replied to a visa application in about 2.5 months and asked for a new police certificate. Is this a common practice? If your application takes about 3 months will they ask for a new police certificate?

How do they perform an EYE TEST? Is it an Eye test or Vision test?

Vision test is like there would be a board with alphabets written on it. Is it the test they perform or something else?
