Applicants on new routine (App no. C000XXXXX and email AOR)

Not to mention me, where my file has been transferred to the local office twice according to ecas

Hopefully it was really transferred. Can't trust them ...
It is like another blank waiting period now again. No news at all and who knows until when.

That's what, there is a system snag somewhere we don't know. Either at Sydney or Local office. Things are not moving for most.
As I said for most it is taking 5+ months to go into process,I didn't say everyone. Even after it transfer to local office, its a waiting game again for most!!!

What I feel about this email AOR that it might be a Pilot Project (or a new project ) of CIC . It appears that CIC might had assigned only a bunch of officers at Sydney and local offices for this new process . As the email AOR applicants MIGHT be processed by only the assigned officers , and not by any available officer so there might be a bottle neck situation for us .

However , its just my two cents and I could be completely wrong !

A quick update.

Got the test invite (either today or yesterday. Didn't check my mail box yesterday) - finally!
Letter dated : Feb 18th
Test date : March 11th at 10.15 AM
Place : Scabby town

BTW, I called CIC two days ago and the lady refused to give any updates on my file. She was adamant, she said I need to wait atleast a year before I can call them and ask for updates. I wasn't in the mood to argue that's why I hung up on her.

Received: November 3, 2014
Email AOR: January 24, 2015
In-process: February 9, 2015
Transfered to Nearest Office: February 19, 2015

But im confused, coz I noticed that with others, the office that their file was transfered to were mentioned, mine wasn't:

4. Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on February 19, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

Im from EDMONTON, by the way..... Any feedback, guys?

Mine doesn't specify which office either; so don't worry, I am sure it will be updated soon...

Nice to see movement on new routine files. Lets hope CIC brings these to same level as mail AOR ones as soon as possible. Anyways, remember that the whole process used to take more than 12 months not too long ago.

Got test notification yesterday. Letter dated 18/Feb. Test date - 9/Mar/2015 @ scarborough town center.

Now my ecas specifically mentions Edmonton as my visa office, last week, when it first appeared, it only says "nearest office".
