Nice, so they ARE actually speeding up with more staffs most likely.

I hope so.. Has any one on the new routine received a test invitation ?

Sadly I have not found anyone. I think by end of February new routine applicants might start seeing test invite as our application went into process and transferred to local office in Mid-Dec.

Today the agent told me my app still in Sudney though

I had never heard the nickname "new routine" before, fancy! They are getting in line with how the other applications are called. F00000000 for sponsorship, W00000000 for work permit, S000000000 for study permit, and now C00000000 for citizenship! :)

my status has changed as well from Received to In Process:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 9, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 17, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on January 8, 2015.

Why do they need this intelligent line for email AORs. This is how the government works.

Thanks Paco. Looks like he is the first one and also very lucky to get test invite in few days after it went to process.
Looks like most of email-AOR have not received test invite. Hopefully soon.

Finally my app goes into process on Jan 12th 2015. Updated today on ECAS. WOW, that ECAS thing does get updated.

Their IT team needs a better manager.
Now that they got this funding going into CIC plus the application fee raise again, I would expect more staffs being added and trained so as to speed up the clearance of the backlog.

today eCAS shows file was transferred to local, hopefully we all hear from them soon!

Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Guy-Favreau office on January 12, 2015. The Citizenship Guy-Favreau office will contact you.

File transferred to Local Office on Jan, 12.. Let's how fast local office acts since Sydney wasted 4 months due to e-mail AOR system..

Does the ECas work in the day time. For me it doesn't work in the day time. It works during night or early morning. Is this only for me? Any one else face this difficulty?

Mine in in process sine Dec 16.
