Has anyone applied for ATIP report with CIC ? I submitted online request to get in EMAIL on Nov-11-2014 but have not received anything till today.

Are you referring to CBSA report or some other ATIP report?

Not CBSA I am referring to CIC.

That is normal I think. I have not received anything physical from CIC either.

I ordered my CBSA report using ATIP on 20th October 2014 and received it by mail on 27th November, 2014.
I am not sure how much CIC ATIP report takes. Could be around 30-40 calendar days.

ECAS activated today, showing 'in process', detailed as below:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 11, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 20, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on December 2, 2014.

Was worried that our application has fallen into a black hole, and it's soooo good to see some progress, best X'mas gift ever!
Wish you guys all the luck!

I really don't understand CIC logic though, is every single step totally random? How come ppl almost every email AOR recipient from june, july and august haven't been "in process" yet while a september applicant has ?!
Well, at least we can check the status of our application now instead of the bogus info we get from call center agents..

Now it's just a matter of time until we get IP. At least we know behind the screen someones are working on something. It is better we are delayed only for 2-3 months instead of until next year :)

Just checked my ecas today after a long while from when I received email aor and it's finally active:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 13, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 24, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on November 27, 2014.

Finally, things are moving forward for most of us, might be soon and everybody with email aor gets some update.

No worries! So long as you can see your updates on ECAS, it means your case are moving. I assume it might just be the data input issue, as this morning the CIC ecas system is really responding slowly, had to refresh almost at each step, seems the tech person are working on their database.
Also, I guess my case moves faster may related my filing method. The application kit I sent, all the papers were filed under each category with post it sticker marking the contents, which I think saved the officers a lot of time to check and gether the requested docs.

so it's actually some email AOR applicants getting In Process already.
now I want to put a bit more faith on this new routine thing .

I'm also an email AOR applicant from June and I can access e-CAS today as well. Status is "Received".

QUESTION GUYS...

for all those email AOR folks who saw e-CAS - - is your application starting with C followed by 4 zeros or 5 zeros and then a number ?
