What does your application no. look like ? starts with C or just numbers ?

Mine is one of those lab rat numbers C000XXXXXX.
And looks like none of the C000XXXXX with email AOR is in process. Everyone sees a "received".

Mine was received in September/2014 ... so I guess those who see updates in ecas were received in June

I got my AOR in email and my E-Cas got activated today with my home address and application status being "In-Process". It also has the detail dates of application received, AOR sent and in-process started although I never received anything in regular mail.

I'm one of the August applicants and my citizenship file no. is like C0000XXXXX.

Congrats ! Where did you apply from ?

ECAS active today with "RECEIVED" status only. Application was received on Aug. 7th and Email AOR on Oct. 10th.
Everyone please note that ECAS is sometimes updated late, even after applicants receive test notification by mail. July/Aug applicants should expect test notification in DEC/JAN. Again ECAS may not display in real time but email could be received in real time to appear for test(may have to print that email & bring on test date). Just being optimistic!

ECAS is only a status display software, CIC does not actually use the tool to process it. Also it depends on who is working on the file and will care to update ECAS tool as well.

No, I don't think so.. Because there are 2 applicants who were in the same boat as us that have an "in-process' status, and it just started in December..
