Admitted to University of Manitoba Fall2014. M.Sc in Computer Science.

I am currently in final semester of Btech from ggsipu new delhi. When should i apply for the VISA? Do i need to wait for my 8 semester result (which usually comes in august) and i think will be too late, As my acceptance letter states the condition that :
provisional admission has been done and final BTech degree needs to be submitted.

So will this be any problem in my visa application if i submit my visa application right now, with transcripts of 7 semester.

For visa you need to show your all academics docs including the eigth semester.
 
Hello all,
I have been offered admission into the graduate program at a recognised Canadian university. I completed my M.Sc. in 2009 and thereafter have worked for almost 3 years. I'm from India and I went to apply for a study permit with VFS Global. Now they are asking me which category should I apply to:
1) General
2) University
3) SPP
Please note that I would be provided with funding for the first year which should be renewed depending on my performance. I am infact going for a Ph.D. program. University scholarship would be the way of funding my education there and that's the information I have provided therein.
Kindly advice me which category should I apply to. Neither VFS Global nor the Canadian High Commission could help me in this regard. Please treat this as urgent. Please help.

I think your case would be under University category.But still confirm from the expert members like Regina,Tiger,PMM etc
 
Hey i have applied for caq and now waiting for the decision, couldyou plese tell me what should be my next step in the mean time , for the decision to be out.
I have received an conditional acceptance from the university, i confirmed my seat by paying CN$250 , applied for CAQ, What should be my next procedure that i need to proceed with, is it mandatory that, that i pay the 1st semester fees, inorder to apply for visa....Huh

Hi everyone,
People who have got VISA or applied for one please guide me.
I have already attested my educational documents photocopy and my IELTS result card photocopy as well.
I have a confusion regarding notary attestation of other documents.
Should i attest University fee slip? GIC confirmation? My father's bank statement? His PPF account letter from bank?


Also i have done property evaluation and CA statement explaining net worth of my family assets.
They should also be attested? or i just attaching the originals of both these would suffice?

Kindly share your advice.

Here is the answer:-
No need to notarise any document that you got from university and scotia bank.
On the bank statement you need a stamp of the bank. And if you are submitting the original property valuation paper then no need to notarise.

I think you need to fill it online then you have to validate it and then only take a print out.
 
@Lovedeepsingh Congrats on getting your study permit :)

Could you let me know if I live in a particular state do I have to undergo pre medical exam in that state itself? because I will be in Kolkata for a few weeks and was wondering If I can get the medical exam done there rather than the state where I live? and also could you let me know if an affidavit for financial sponsorship and valuation report of land etc are must?

I am not sure about the premed. But I guess it would be fine as lons as you pass the med.
For uni category valuation report is not required but you should attach sponsorship affidavit on a stamp paper of 50 rs.

My profile is:
Matric 76 %
FSc 71%
BS electrical(telecom) engg CGPA 2.41 ( 67.3%)
3.5 years of work experience in a telecom company.

Please guide me what are my chances at these two universities
Possitive response will be appreciated.
