well I applied for january 2014 session....now I even have deffered my admission and received letter from uni but still no reply from embassy

Yes i deferred after paying my confirmation fee.
Pay your confirmation fees before the deadline mentioned on your LOA. Yes pay before you apply for visa and if you are deferring then its better to apply with a deferred LOA.

Those of you who applied before Dec 11 did you guys had your biometrics done? Were u supposed to or not? Because the biometric rules took effect from Dec 11 2013. I am just asking, I myself don't know if u guys were supposed to give biometrics or not.

I second that, what I know is mostly Post graduate diploma course duration is one year. However, It will only get you PGWP for one year. secondly, for CEC eligibility you must have at least one year of skilled work experience or equal amount of part time working hours i.e. 30hrs per week times 52 (you can do the math) must be under NOC 0, A & B. You can be in a better position to choose a right option rather someone else.

ur right but he is talking about post graduate diploma which requires 120 credits hours to complete mostly and it is two year course,, post graduation certificate require 60 credit hours and that is one year course..

nonetheless, u have raised good question,, and I agree going for one year course is definitely worthless,, one should go for atleast two year course in order to successfully get PR,,

30 lacs as liquid cash is enough,, more the better,, but this is not all ur sponsor must show some monthly income to give idea to VO that he will make the rest of the money u need during ur stay,,

As sharjeel told many universities r still open for fall intake, u can apply in them or wait for next term because visa ratio for colleges is really low in Pakistan

bro am showing 4.6 million PKR. i thought i need to show 3 year tuition plus living expenses i.e (13000*3)39000 + 10000=49000..hope 4.6 million will be enough..

1 year tuition fees and living expenses is enough. The amount you are showing is more than enough. Plus as sharjeel mentioned whoever is sponsoring you should proof that he is capable enough to support you for 3 years of your study.

yeah bro i got it...just for the sake of information i would like to know is this possible to manage living expenses along with full time study?? if one do a part time job along with studies, does this effect his study?

Its next to impossible to manage living expenses along with full time study by part time jobs, though it also depends on your tuition fees.

Well i cannot say it will have no effect on your studies, but if you take it properly u can manage tt easily

i was accepted at Concordia university in M.Eng in Software Engineering for May 2014 .

but later on my visa got refused 2 times with two main reason:

1st time Refusal reason: Applied on: 8Feb,14 Rejected on:18 Feb,14

1) not sufficient resources to study and travel (i showed 41k CAD bank statement and other strong financial documents but statement was not maintained for 3 to 4 months)


2nd time refusal reasons: Applied on: 25 Feb,14 Rejected on:5 March,14

1) not sufficient resources to study and travel ( i showed 50k CAD bank statement and other strong financial documents but statement was not maintained for 3 to 4 months)
2) You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
a) your travel history
b) your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence

Please suggest me what can i do ?
