Yaar I applied on 22nd of November and still waiting for a response! I applied via VAC , Karachi.
How about you? when did you apply?

I am from Karachi, Pakistan what service should i use to apply for my study permit. I have three options by courier, online through CIC site and i can also submit it to VAC office. What do you think is better.

My advice is courier, but i m not much experienced in these maters, ask any senior present here... or Times consultant they are experts in it...

I think you are second person receiving the call from embassy regarding your application. May I know what actually was asked during the call? Was it sort of background check?

There is another applicant "Anonymous", he did receive the call from embassy last week and I see one application being rejected during this tenure. It was of Layla.bee's sister.

We are still in waiting queue!

I applied on the same date via Karachi VAC. (22nd November)
I dont think that we can get visa without medical call. Medical is mandatory for us in Pakistan.

isn't it too late i mean almost 2 months have passed?
if u r college students then its chc ho delays otherwise uni students usually get it within 15 days..
da most interesting thing is dat all students ho applied after 15 nov-2013 are not getting medicals nor

I took admission in MEng (Computer Engineering) in University of Windsor. I think they are handling everyone on the same scale which is good. My classes were supposed to start from 6th Jan. I dropped all my courses and defer my admission for next intake. I got the confirmation letter on email and waiting for the hard copy.

There was one application who applied on 15th nov and got his medical on 21st nov from pakistan. he was on this forum as well and applied online.
now I see three applicantss application being worked upon. two got calls and one was rejected. so, there is some progress.

I read somewhere that it takes 11 months to apply for it. Is it true? It will become very difficult for me and my family to live and study, despite taking our savings, if this is the case

when did u recve a call? i wasnt asked abt the course .he was askng of the money i paid an stuff.dob n email wagra. why is it happening phelay toh nhi huwa???

12th :76.90%

Why they take too long??? If they refuse us then why they dont do early....
