Bro its not unusual, in my earlier posts I told everyone that after medical CIC usually go through three things for authenticity, first they call ur college or university for confirmation, second they check the authenticity of ur bank statement, and then of course they go for ur medical reports, so its not very unusual,

hmm..well sfaisal and anonymous both have not yet got their medical calls. And why were they asking the consultant name?

CIC is very unpredictable but yes these verifications happens after medical only,

I have no Idea why they ask for consultant, If they dont have applied via consultant they simply say no, If they did then say yes, maybe CIC has some consultants in their blacklist, so thats not a good sign, since CIC is implementing new rules from June 2014, they want to make sure that only genuine students should enter Canada,

I have no Idea why they ask for consultant, If they dont have applied via consultant they simply say no, If they did then say yes, maybe CIC has some consultants in their blacklist, so thats not a good sign, since CIC is implementing new rules from June 2014, they want to make sure that only genuine students should enter Canada,

bro the blacklist idea was also coming in my mind but lets hope it's not like that.

Yes I think you should call them and ask why they have given u such a date. Usually people get appointments within a week.
