Yeah I called IRCC,, the agents there aren't helpful.. I ask them "does IRCC prioritize longer than 15 months applications for oath scheduling?"

She says "IRCC will contact you once they schedule your ceremony"

I ask "I have a travel in May and my PR and travel documents have expired, how does IRCC help me to expedite the oath scheduling so that I can make my May travel?"

She says "you're welcome to renew your PR card and your travel document"

I ask "it's a hassle, and I don't want to do that and having to experience the processing time for PR and travel document while I have an oath to be scheduled"

She says "I don't have any information regarding your oath scheduling, there is no action on your end except renewing your documents to travel, but IRCC will definitely contact you once they're ready for your oath"

I was like...... this conversation with this agent isn't getting me anywhere so I had to say "alright thank you bye bye"

I would tell you best option is to renew your PR card, cost is not a lot. It honestly is not a hassle, based on my friends' experience, they are pretty quick with that. It might help you getting your Oath sooner. This are just my thoughts (don't have any references).

Debby here had emailed the visa office and got an update so, i thought someone knows which email to send to.

No, it was another person. I emailed them and got no response. Still waiting for Oath.

Guess what!!!!!!!! i just received an email to download the e-certificate and next would be Oath ceremony.

My LPP got completed since mid of April and my oath not started yet! Most of the applicants with the same timeline and more applicants with LPP completion at end of April (later than mine) got their oath date at least. I called IRCC like 4 times and I got the same answer "working on your application"! Working on what if everything is completed?! There is nothing to do expect sending me the invitation!

Any clue folks?

Waiting my oath since Feb 29. Mississauga office. I believe Mis office is the slowest office when it comes to oath scheduling. I know some people waiting since December , January even October. I don’t know what to do with that. I think they’re just want to make sure that we deserve it or something

The last update was in June 13, 2024. All process completed except ceremony. When my MP followed up, VO said they need more time for verification. Please what are they verifying? Any idea

I am also all green except ceramony. I did change province, my file transfered to Montreal office. People applied same time with me got their citizenship month ago. I still wait...
