Hey guys, my wife sent in her medicals on 19th june. She is applying for study visa so she can study ECE in vancouver. Due to the strike I was told that the process is going to have delays. Anyone here have any idea how long would it take for her to get her visa? Or is there anyway that I can check?

I applied my visa back in 2010 and I remember it was quick and easy when the Malaysian embassy is still operating.

Thanks
Kevin

Hi all,

Does anyone here know what are the chances of study permit approval for students from Malaysia. I recently sent my application directly to High commission in Spore by mail.
Standard processing time is 45 days ; so far it has been 25 days.

The only way I could track my mail was thru Poslaju, I emailed the embassy and I am just getting standard auto response email .

I am just a bit worried bcos I am returning to N.America after 7 years in Msia. Previously I studied in Minnesota, USA. I am already 35 , so I am just really not sure about this Canadian visa this time . I had provided proof of sufficient funds for at least one academic year, both tuition + expenses.

Anyone here returning to Canada or USA after spending some time in Msia.

Just wait after 45 days once your processing time exceeded you can email them and ask them the reason why the processing has been delayed.it happened to me ..my case the clinic did not submit my medical result..

Hi all,

I have a quick question: For residents of Malaysia, at the time of Passport Request (for Permanent Residency), where should one send the passport to (which Visa Office)? And is it possible to send passport via any courier?

Any guide is much appreciated. :)

either its Singapore or Australia (Sydney).. But most probably its Singapore.. Now in Kualalumpur they have VFC for Singapore visa office, so u can submit ur passport there, moreover u can send ur passport through courier as well but all depends on the directions given by Visa office
