Hi! Does anyone know if European passport holders still need to apply for ETA after Copr ?
I don't know for sure but I was under the impression that if you usually need an ETA then you still do

I will reply to my own question, so that others don’t have to scroll all the way to the beginning of this thread. When Copr is issued, ETA is issued at the same time and attached to it. So no, visa exempt passport holders do not need to apply for ETA after Copr

Got an (additional family information) ADR today indicating my eligibility is being looked at. Calling to ensure this is received as they're having form based issues
By the 23rd the online portal had updated to reflect "we are processing your submitted documents"

Today? Ghost update!

Called them to ask what's changed. Eligibility status: Pass (from the primary officer).

@RayBear anything today?
I'm waiting for your PPR to come through anyday!

Still no movement on mine but I have faith!!

I stand corrected.

It's 1am. Was just dropping off when my phone alerts. Only 2 things are allowed to break my do not disturb. Family emergency and emails from IRCC.

So I guess with almost a month to go, until the 6 month point, that makes today December 2020!

Because I just got my "Ready for visa" email! =]

Got my Ready for Visa email this morning!!!!

Bear with me for the breakdown on dates below, I’m still very overly excited about finally getting in. Any questions or clarifications, please just ask!

Outland CEC applicant, applying from the UK and a British Citizen.

ITA 15th Nov, AOR, 19th December,
MEP 31st January.
Biometrics letter received: 26th February
Biometrics completed: 1st March
PPR Email: 30th May

My application was mostly processed at CIO Sydney. It was transferred to Edmonton for a short while to assist with processing, returned to CIO Sydney and then I assume it was transferred to the LVO in London.

I did speak with CIC on 23rd May for an update to which my application was still at CIO Sydney. My Background check was still ongoing at that point and I had a recommended pass on my file for eligibility. Last part has all moved very quickly over the last week.

Also no ghost updates whatsoever that I’m aware of since I submitted my biometrics until I got my visa email this morning.

CIC portal showed an update with nothing actually changed against any of the status’.

Wishing everyone else still waiting all the luck in the world. What a stressful process eh!

Also, just to add for anyone that’s already submitted their documents - is it just me that finds the ready for visa email very confusing!!?

So photocopy of passport photo page, I understand and that makes sense. But the line about pages containing amendments? Does that mean every stamped page?

There are also lots of references to uploading stuff to my CIC although I can’t see anywhere to do that.

Am I just being daft and actually I sent passport copy, photos and the updated appendix a to London?

That's what people describe as a ghost update ;]

Congratulations on your RFV!

I found the email really confusing too. It's extremely unclear.

Nowhere to upload anything in my CIC (When I had ADR there absolutely was). Seeing as this is what people have described previously and reported they used the form to submit, the details, I've taken this to mean we do not need to provide anything but the photos (I believe the things they've asked for were already part of the application) because using the form takes an additional 5-10 business days.

I've sent the photos and will follow up on the status next week

Finally got a response for them. It's an error. There is supposed to be a place for the file to be updated
