We've had the same statuses since 15th January - according to the statuses, they literally require nothing more from us, no additional documents, background check is being processed etc etc etc
To be honest, I've never rang up to ask and we used a consultant in the UK who accesses our portal for updates. Its been a blessing and a nightmare not able to access our portal ourselves as I'd be checking it everyday but with no access, I can kind of try and forget about it. I usually ask for any update every 2-3 weeks to our consultant
Ah, yeah. That'd do it. I hope you hear something soon. Having a middle man would drive me nuts. As it is, dealing with people who themselves only have secondary information (the phone operatives aren't the ones processing the file) is bad enough!
I have to admit, knowing my security is underway has made me slightly more "Oh, maybe it'll be today," and I've gotten to the point of checking once in the morning, and once in the evening.
I feel like this is a great idea! Not sure if my will power will allow it though
Security can take a while (though after looking into what the actual process entails, it shouldn't really) and I was doing the morning and evening checks for a bit but we'll see what happens. Checking each day is tiring
