You've gotten PPR and you're just waiting for you're COPR now, right? You can read about my saga here.
That's normal and IP1/IP2 don't really mean anything/Uk applications don't really go through that processJust out of interest, does anyone have any thoughts on my status, as I'm not too sure if I'm IP1 or IP2?...

Interestingly my Background Check status has said "we are processing..." since I received AOR.
Thanks as always; just for my own intrigue, can you elaborate when you say UK apps. don't go through that process? That's normal and IP1/IP2 don't really mean anything/Uk applications don't really go through that process
No. I'm still waiting for the approval. Technically speaking UK applicants don't get a "PPR", but if we did I'd still be waiting for it. All that has happened is that my application has been transferred out of CIO Sydney, the first real progress since July 2018.You've gotten PPR and you're just waiting for you're COPR now, right?
In forumese, you're in "IP2", but as RayBear says these terms don't really mean anything outside of this forum. I'm in "IP1", as mine (still) saysJust out of interest, does anyone have any thoughts on my status, as I'm not too sure if I'm IP1 or IP2?...
As you can see from mine, this isn't always the case. Maybe more recent ones such as yours are coming through like this regularly but previously we have all been subject to the same processes as every other applicant from around the globe. Ultimately the stuff we see in the online account is just placeholder text to give us all something to look at and make us feel like something is happening. It seldom reflects what stage your application is actually at. The only true insight into your case is ordering GCMS notes, but hopefully none of you will have to because your visas will arrive well before time.*Shrug* It says its processing as soon as it hits AOR
This is basically what Inwas getting at. Technically I'm in "ip2". When I called a few months ago, they suggested my criminality was passed but nothing else was started. A later call suggested my security was under way. Latest call says its not. Same status the entire time.Ultimately the stuff we see in the online account is just placeholder text to give us all something to look at and make us feel like something is happening. Oh man, i hope your application being transferred to the London Visa Office means good news very soon! I absolutely love the part in your saga about the Hi, my name is xxxx and i am a PR-oholic.... had to laugh at that as the idea of saying this on the forum (only place where anyone can understand the joke really) crossed my mind so many times! You can read about my saga here.
Thanks for your breakdown, and congratulations on your PPR!That isn’t to say logging on and seeing “application updated” is bad, it means there has been movement of some kind! But if you’re in “IP2” that’s no indication that your final decision is close
I should also mention i got PPR last week, just over 9 months as needed additional documents but would have been about 7 months I think if they hadn’t needed those so be prepared to wait more than 6 months guys!
Well, just got an update on my profile that says 'application/profile updated.' Normally an indication of moving into IP2 right, if such a thing exists?...
Hopefully, but I feel like that might be a bit quick! I’m only just under 50 days in!From what i read on the forum it seems when it is your second ghost update you are most likely to receive the PPR email soon, i hope it is the case for you fingers crossed!
