Thanks for the reply , when i went to CHC to inquire as to why only my application been affected , the officer affirmed that there were quite number of other Colombo applicants as well with me , she did not divulge the exact number , nevertheless she implied it was more than 5 .
i have already initiated a dialog with chandika and also have sent a couple of e-mails for Dilu ,but i'm afraid i didn't get a response from Dilu.
Perhaps you could send them a mail and see how it goes .provided that you applied through a consultant he may be privy to more info than us , is he a lawyer ?
i know one thing for sure , doing nothing is not an option , we all have to do something , don't we ?

Yes If we do not do any thing and give every thing to fate we do not know what will happen. Doing some impelling things towards a positive/ favourable change will enhance our relief seeking process. So can could you send a personel mail to me to discuss more detials. I will connect Tharanga. I recived a mail from Dilu, mentioning willingness to join for such action. Further you can ask Chandika to join with the loop. Let`s draft a petion and hand over to CHC in this month, as you know court heariing to decide on a class action law suit is scheduled on 16th Nov.

Furthermore, below quots (extractred from few websites) eloborates importance of putting pressure on CHC, CIC rather than doiing nothing.....

Does anyone know how to take CAD as our proof of fund on landing? I checked with commercial bank and they say now it’s not possible to take bank draft for big amounts and some people say that taking currency is restricted by customs. I checked with custom web-page and it still says US $ 10000 per person is permitted without declaration and same with Central Bank. If anyone got an idea, please share.

I took 13000 out through a draft. For bigger amounts, may need central bank approval but you certainly can take money out when you migrate.

You dont need to pay tax but they may be intrest of the source of fund(not black money) .I check with my friend ,you need to show the sourse of fund.If it gains from business they will check the applicabe tax for the businees.For capital gains they will check the stamp duty etc.
