Field Operations Support System(FOSS) is the computer system used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process all immigration files within Canada. The overseas counterpart to FOSS is CAIPS. Thats the only thing I know about FOSS

THANKS for the prompt reply!!! is there any other system form which we can check our file in progress as my friend said there is one in which each and every details are given and that is only be shared and can be ordered by registered lawyers and member of parliament and its fees is around 800$ with taxes. and registered lawyers are not authorized to tell and info to their client.

No man,,,, usually interview dates are from 1-2 months.. but 10 months; its really annoying...

just got a letter from LVO , requesting for an interview which will take place within 10 months , the letter issue date is sept-2012



any ideas what going on?

I think CIC fees is only $5...

so if you pay $800 or $25 does not matter..

GCMS has all the details & it will be the same if you order paying any amount...

I was just thinking to do a CADD course from India. It takes 45 days to complete that course..

1. Do you guys think that it is wise decision to do that.??

2. Is there any benefit in Canada after adding CADD qualification..

i think its better to move canada and then find which advance course is better for u....
as per my knowledge india and canada are working on diff platforms in each and every field....
so may b wat u do here in autocad is totally different their in use...
so my suggestion is to move there and then decide wat they need in automobile industry..... and do the same required study...

As I said its completely ur choice to order GCMS or not........it won't cause any harm to your appln......instead gcms notes will rid u of ur anxiety and unnecessary tensions......for me its already 35 days....I'm expecting my gcms by 29 Oct(in worst case scenario, if I do get an interview atleast I would know what is it regarding).

Just to remind you again gcms atleast takes 1 month to process.....so if you wait for 45 days and then order it....it would be almost 75 days of wait without knowing whats happening in your file.....the sooner you order it the better it is.....as I said earlier even if you get MR, you are only going to loose $25
