Lots of Rumors bro, ( All will be answered after july 012)
1. Proposed new point based system for MI5.
2. Proposed to hold MI5 till jan 013. ( to process backlog)
3. Credential assessment before application.
4. Low IELTS score for few NOC..Minimum IELTS for few NOCS.
5. To reset the same cap and same noc as per old system ( 29 occupation demanded list with 500 cap and global cap of 10,000)

i think they will freeze the new fsw applicants temporary(mostly)...strong indication given by kenny...and will start new fsw next year...with new rules and regulations...i think new applicants should make up their mind to wait for 6 more months...(as new rules will get them pR quickly within 8-10 months)...good move for us MI3 especially...and also good move for new applicants...

It seems before 15 May 2012. NDVO was quick but after 15 May its working slow. May b cos of this new Rules to come on July 1.. anyways keep on sharing guys and keep fingers crossed and pray for everu one in the que.

Personally I think there are good chances that they will freeze the new FSW applications until January 2013. They can't just take new applications every year without fixing the backlogs. When MI2 came(it became priority and MI1 took backseat), when MI3 came(MI1 and 2 took backseat). If MI5 comes, there are good chances that MI3,2 and 1 would take backseat.

Agar MI5 accept hote, toh even the MI5 applicants wouldn't know where they stand and if they would be processed on priority. Instead of waiting on the sidelines and wait endlessly.....its better that MI5 will now get a good chance to prepare their appln and also a clear picture on processing times.

I have sympathy with those who wanted to apply for July intake, but they need not worry as CIC is making provisions to start FSW intake by Jan 2013.

what ever pop ups its will be mix bag for me..lots of my dear friends who get their application back due to cap reached were all eying on this July 01, 012, dont know what to comment...

I agree... If the backlog is not cleared, it will only get worse from then on for everybody! I am curious about his announcement, we'll see what changes will be made.
