Hi Babbu!,

Nope, no change so far and no email as well....Been checking E-CAS and Spam mail quite often without any updates.....I think my case will take time since I have a lot of travel history, so I guess that is something that will delay things....plus Im FSW2, so it will take a while....lets see how it goes...


Friends, hope everyone is doing good....I was away for a few days, so was spending time catching up on all the posts....

AEO is Arranged Employment Option or something....basically, its the FSW2 category where either you are already working in Canada on a Work Permit and your employer filed for your PR or if you are outside of Canada currently, but a Canadian employer is ready to offer you a job and filing for your PR...

Just a correction... AEO means Arrange Employment Opinion. your explanation is right though.

AEO(Arrange Employment Openion) When you get job offer from canadian employer who is ready to hire you after you get your landed status and this helps you to get 15 Points in your eligibility.

LMO(Labour Market Opinion), in this just you get work permit and you are already working in Canada and apply for Permanent Immigratioin. This gives you 15 points too.

AEO and LMO has to be approved from HRSDC (Human Resources and Skills Development of Canada), they give you approval after checking the market that if field in question is required in Country means if they have labour shortage in Canada for this field which we apply for.

And in this category employer does not file for your PR, Once you have your AEO or LMO with work permit you can apply by yourself without the help of Employer as well.
