They didn't accept my PhD work experience letter last time. No, I didn't provide any letters or explanations in my second application package. What is your current status? Have you received the file number yet? I think it might have something to do with the post 4 May rules.

Just an update on my application, I received the passport request this morning. and stay positive guys. I was also rejected last year due to the fact that CIC didn't accept my Phd work experience letter and then I applied again under the new rules.

Did you order GMCS notes to see whether they gave you marks for RAship during PhD in the new point system after 4th May ? Did you rely on RA and TA as the work experience or had sth else to count on ?

Hi guys,

I got PER today. Application received Aug 8, 2013; cash credit card, Nov 2, 2013; PER Nov 12, 2013.
I am a second time applicant.
I only rely on my TA/RA work experience.
So at least from the CIO end, they still accept the TA/RA work. If you need the PER to reduce the tuition, it is still worth trying.

Yes, I have already updated them one year ago with a job offer as a PDF. At least, those should be counted as working experience. I do not know what I should do now....

I meant to ask, did you update your first ever RA experience letter? many applicants did that after the many rejection because of the missing leading statement and they made it, without updating those letters they were supposed to be rejected. The job offer does not work as it was supposed to be submitted with your initial application.
I think the best thing is to apply again, and it seems much faster for those who applied after May 4th.

Thanks Aidina. I do not know about my due date as I didn't order GCMS notes after my medical tests. Medical tests were finished by June 24.

Thanks, Yes, I have ordered the GCMS notes and I should get them in two weeks from now. I also submitted one year work experience letter as mechanical engineer from Hong Kong besides the RA/TA work experience letter.
