How can I forget them? Congrats, guys
And for Mohazy, you got your PR in 11 months, that was almost a record
I think several 2011 applicants got their PR's in less than a year, but after the long Buffalo-Ottawa transfer hiatus last year, the majority of early 2012 applicants got delayed by several months. Hopefully the pace will be picking up again soon

Thanks S_Govind for your comment. My TA work experience is cumulative and you are right I wont probably get any point for this. I also have one year continuous work experience from back home as Research Assistant. I assisted the senior researchers at a research institution with data analysis, literature review, assist with publication and so on. The problem with my back home work experience is that I cannot find any NOC code under which my main duties could fall. Some of my duties fit NOC code 4012 but the requirement of this 4012 is that you have to be at the University or Collage and I think it has to include both teaching assistantship aspect as well as aspects of research assistantship. Do you guys have any suggestions in terms of which NOC code my back home work experience might fit?
I think what matters is matching the lead statement and also a substantial number of main duties. This is pursuant to R80(3), which states that
(3) (f)or the purposes of subsection (1), a skilled worker is considered to have experience in an occupation, regardless of whether they meet the employment requirements of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, if they performed
(a) the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification; and
(b) at least a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all the essential duties.

Also, while at least one year of work experience (of 1,560 hours) within the last 10 years would need to be continuous, all of other work experience would accumulative. So as long as there is a continuous chunk of 1,560 hours within the last 10 years (counting only up to 30 hours per week), then all of the other work experience would be accumulative.
For example, if you have 18 months of continuous work experience, then 7 months elsewhere, then the total work experience you will have would be 25 months. Please correct me if my interpretation is wrong
EDIT: there is an explanation for this on OP6B:
Periods of work of less than 12 months during the 10 years immediately preceding the date of the application may be added together and divided by 12 to calculate the number of years
But no such explanation exists on OP6C. There is no difference in the way work experience should be calculated for the new FSWP (I compared IRPR subsection 80 and the only difference between the old and the new versions was just the total number of hours per week that define 'full-time'), so I do not expect this would have changed after May 4.
