I agree with you. I am still waiting, my application reach July 3rd and nothing till now.

They have been slow recently. Hopefully you will receive an e-mail with the CIO decision by the end of this week or the next one.

My ECAS status has been updated to "Medical results have been received". My doctor sent my medical results to them about 1 month ago.

Congrats! Now the last step is close!

I am a little confused about the 'completion of two years of study' part. Suppose the first year coursework began in the first week of September, will the second year too completes in the first week of September or could it be end of August? The third year Fall session at my university begins on 10th Sept, will I complete 2 years on 9th Sept then? Thanks

Think about "birthdays".

Hi, salam20, I hope you will get updates soon.

Frankly speaking, the waiting time is too long for the new applicants starting June.

I am guessing the slow processing time is due to summer season as most of people are taking their vacations during this time.

You do know that some of first applicants had to wait for more than 100 days don't you?

Hi All,

I will be completing my two years of PhD in University in Canada on 31st December 2012. This means, I will be able to apply on 1st January 2013 onward under the PhD stream. But I am worried that if the cap will be reached by that time? or will they renew the cap for PhD stream on 5th November 2012? Any thoughts please?

Thanks,
Indus

That and combine with the fact that they had been busy with the changes from Buffalo to Ottawa. Also, don't forget this track - "the PhD stream" is also a new stream only introduced late last year and thus most of them may be new dealing with it. Patience would be the best virtue to have right now.

Yep, I noticed that the first applicants spent around 60 days to get cc charged.

Now we are experiencing the same situation maybe?

Taking into consideration that the application may be returned for any unexpected reason, makes it hard to wait to get cc charged.

But ojohn22, who applied at the same time as you did, got the return package already because of the missing birth certificate.

So if we didn't hear anything right now, I guess we will probably proceed with the charging process soon.

From the applicant who applied FSW last July, the processing time is around 60 days on average. Just like the first applicants in this thread.

Let's keep patient and wait for the good news...
