Hi guys , I need to know the answer to a question that maybe is obvious but I need to know if you manage to apply for your PR through this category and for some reason quit your phd program during the processing time (23 months), are they not going to give you the PR? Because at the time you applied you had almost all the documents needed for application

Guys, for those who went through the RPRF before, The generated receipt has blank spaces for my personal information, but the PDF is not fallible, do I have to print it, fill it in, and then scan it and e-mail it, or I can just e-mail it and write my info in the e-mail itself ?

Yes, you can. You'll be awarded 10 points for that, but your job offer should be for permanent, full-time, non-seasonal work.
They do not award 10 points for a job offer. In fact it is still not certain whether they accept arranged employment for PhD stream applicants. However, they award 5 points at max. The max points one may get through all criteria under adaptability is 10.

Anna2013 was one of those who presented her job offer but was not awarded adaptability points.

Please read section 9.14 of the manual OP06b, it states that 10 points will be awarded if the applicant has an arranged employment offer.
According to the adaptability it states that 5 points will be awarded if the applicant has earned points under the Arranged Employment in Canada factor.
The employment offer should be for permanent, full-time, non-seasonal work, which is not easy to get!

I am saying the same thing as in OP06b. I said for PhD stream they do not award 10 points, and even it is yet uncertain whether they award points for that in the PhD stream. Again Anna2013 is one who presented a job offer but did not get the points. However, it is still one of those grey areas.

And the max points one may get through adaptability is 10 in the PhD stream.

OP06b is for FSW applications submitted before May 4th, and the PhD stream is just part of the FSW in general, so why won't they accept those job offers if they meet the requirements!
I do not think Anna had such a job offer (permanent, full-time, non-seasonal work). I think it is a miracle to find such a job without having the PR!
The max points is 10; under the new regulations the PhD applicant may get 5 points for the 2 years full-time study, and another 5 points if s/he had an arranged employment.

I think 16 points, you should find that out in your GCMS notes. How many points did Sydney award you?
Would you please share your timeline with us?

Good Luck!
In my GCMS Sydney gave me 16 points. But actually I was asking the points under new regulations (based on 24 points). How many points do I get?

That was the question at that time. I don't know what was the problem for her case but Anna2013 was the only tester. That's why I still put the arranged employment in a grey area for the PhD stream. But for sure it's worth a try for after-may-applicants.

For the points, we are talking about prior-to-may applicants (OP06b). New regulations do not apply.

When is your due date N_O? Did you hear anything recently from them? I just passed my third due date.

For the job offer, I have one full-time, permanent, non-seasonal, genuine ...etc that meets the requirements. I had submitted the PR application in June, and received the offer from the University where I study in september. I had been working as a casual (per hour) for 18 months then they gave me the job offer. I sent the offer to CPP-O, we'll see if they are going to give me the 10 points.

I'll keep you posted.

What I know about Anna that she was a sesonal instructor and a post doc, so this doesn't meet the requirement of the arranged work .

My file hasn't been assign for assessment as of Dec 2013 but I am waiting for my latest GCMS notes. Hopefully, it will be assigned for an officer.

I don't think you'll hear from them before June, it seems they need 15 months to open the file recently. I think mine will be in June or July.
