Thanks asbereth. It will not contain contradictory information. But the only thing I'm worried about is the letter of reference from my supervisor. The semesters when I was working as a RA are not a problem because I have copies of the contracts. But for the semester that I held a fellowship, I might ask my supervisor to indicate in his letter that I was doing RA work as well (since I'm always working in my lab anyway). The only problem is, I won't be able to provide any contract for that because a fellowship is basically granted from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and does not require work. Will that be an issue?
Hi informer2000, I don't think that would be an issue. For a lot of people here, their RA work was supported by funding that comes from the Graduate Studies Office, so as long as you are clear about it in the letter, I don't think it would be a problem. I was initially having some problem about it, especially since they could not issue the total number of hours, but just have your supervisor clarify it in the letter, and I think all should be fine.

I finally got my PER today. The email came in while I'm having lunch, and I had to hold my breath while reading it, until I found the word "positive"!! It's been more than two weeks since I sent in my new employment letters. What a relief, at least for now.
Congratulations!!! Getting PER is a really good feeling

My application reached CIO on 9 Jan, cc charged on 10 Feb, got PER 13 Apr. Waiting for the VO reply...
Hi PyramidCity, did you send your application to Buffalo? And was it the PhD stream or did you apply though other FSW classes? None of us here has heard anything from the visa office, even those that applied back in November! Also, you said you received your PER on April 13, but according to your eCAS, the VO started processing your application at March 27. That doesn't make any sense since the CIO forwarded your application to the VO on April 13, so the VO could not have possibly started processing your application before they even received it!!! Don't worry about it, as TyrusX said, it must be a typo. Or you can try sending them an email or something to clarify.
