hello everyone
greetings from Karachi.
I m new to apply under phd stream in Canada. please help me, advice me and give ur best opinion to guide me. also correct me wherever I m wrong. I m thanking you all in advance and appreciate your efforts. I also don't know if I m searching/posting in right forum and thread or not.
I m planning to enroll in Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador due to extremely affordable cost of education. I am married, wife is practicing MBBS doctor, one kid of 2 years of age. I m not a rich person so low budget/cost is my first preference. please answer my following questions.
q1. are there any other alternative affordable options than Memorial University to do PHD?
q2. beside affordable education, what is or will be the quality of education from Memorial University? is it among good universities in Canada?
q3. do graduates of Memorial University get jobs or do they have to try really harder in comparison to other university graduates?
q4. considering my family will come with me, is it possible to bring my family with me?
q5. what is cost of living in Newfoundland as compare to other provinces for an international student with family of 2? is it among low cost provinces?
q6. some people on internet have written that Newfoundland is among one of the most poorest places of Canada, life is useless there, most stupid and idiot people use to live there, less cultured and unfriendly place. bad place for new comers and a no go place for students.......considering every place has its cons and pros.........but is it true? Newfoundland is such a bad place in Canada?
thanks again.
regards.
