People who applied in May have already received MR or document request, however, I have not been contacted yet while I applied in March!
We will have to wait and see what's on your GCMS notes. I hope you will hear something good about your first application (like MR or eligibility approval), though unfortunately, even if that is the case and you choose to withdraw your second application, you will lose the 550 bucks since you already got your second file number. Ironically, that is the best case scenario

Hi everybody,
I am a PhD student in Management at the 3rd year. I would like to apply for permanent residence under the new rules and just found this forum.
Can anybody who got the approval kindly provide a template of the letter of reference fo the TA and RA work? In addition, should I provide letters both from the job supervisor and the HR deparment?
Hi myriam, there have been several people here that have posted their TA/RA letters from their professors. You can try browsing the forum a bit (maybe several hundred pages back
). The most important thing is to include the leading statement, and also try to follow as close as possible to the descriptions given by the HRSDC website (but not straight copy paste)

And if it's not too complicated, also include your HR letter as well, but make sure your prof's reference letter would not contradict the information given by HR. The more evidence you provide, the better
