You may right. But it is better to ask MASOUD2011 and jessiezz to proof your thought.

I haven't had any changes in my status (in process).

Since we have not received PER yet (mine after 110 days) we shouldn't have the same timeline as FSW. That's my thought.

Yeah, I agree, there is no reason for them to speed up the process for us. Is not like they urgently need a bunch of phds
to work as carpenters.
But MASOUD2011 can you send CIC an inquiry about your situation? No PER after 6 weeks of being cashed is too much.

Now I also agree.... Seems it's gonna be slow.... :(

My application reached the CIO office on Jan. 30, and my credit card was cashed on Feb.21. :)

But I have not received any confirmation email yet.

My application package was received on Dec 15th. The bank draft was cashed on Feb 3rd. Now my status is "in process". Hopefully, more people can share their timelines in the forum.

The fees charging time is down to 22 days from 71 days! I hope the rest of the process will accelerate too...

Payslips, T4 and similar tax documents, work contract, additional letter from Company HR, worker's record book(workers card) if you country has one. All properly translated.

Except those said by TyrusX, I also photocopied the Employment of Record. It is a very thin paper filled & sent by a employer in Canada, showing the work period and total salary.

You know. The 10 thousand CAP will be reached soon, maybe in 2 months, or they will receive a lot less applicants
because the more promising professions will have their cap reached. I can't see 500 people applying to be crane operators
any time soon, since only 13 have applied so far. This will probably release a lot of people to process the PHD class applicants.
I suspect this is already happening, and this is why we have seen a speed up in the processing for ours class.

An email related to CIC

Hi all,

I just got an email from CIC today (actually from e-xact.com).

They charged us the immigration fee with my credit card on Feb 6. But today I got the below email from e-xact.com.

It appears they have refunded us the fee.

Does this mean they have decided to return our application?

Thanks.

Did you check your ecas lately?

All the returned FSW PhD streams that I have seen so far on this forum their applications were considered incomplete and the CIO didn't process their payments. You are the first one to experince something like that. The CIO usually sends a email explaining the NER but also so far the CIO didn't send any kind of feedback the FSW PhD stream applicants.

Re: An email related to CIC

Do you have another applicant with you? $1100? Are both of you Phd students?
