How much does it take to get the PR card after landing. I did my landing on Feb. 2nd. I have to travel outside the country in April. Also, is it possible to go out without PR card and come back only on CoPR letter?

You will receive PR card 6-8 weeks after landing. If you are going to US and travelling back by road (car) then COPR and landing papers are sufficient.....but otherwise you cannot re-enter Canada without the PR card.

If they ask you to show settlement funds, you need to show 6 months bank statements showing $14,720 balance.

If they ask you to show the evidence that how did you get these money, then you should get the documented proofs to support yourself.

As past timeline, it is 3-3.5 months (90 to 100 days).

You may use that if they ask when landing. But CIC will ask you before they actually request passport. If they don't ask, it may work. But the safe side is: prepare for settlement fund, which is quite convincing.

guys the officer has sent me an email and asked me to send him some documents by email:

"please submit information and/or documentation to the following email address:
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
Attention to: Program assistant ZSXXXXX"

My question is should I REPLY to the email they sent me or should I send a new email and put the subject line :"Attention to: Program assistant ZSXXXXX" ? because if I simply reply then where should I put the Attention to:... ?
