Hi Viva2014
PER email is solely directed to the principal applicant. Also, all emails sent by the Visa Office (CPC-Ottawa) are also directed to the principal applicant only. If they want any updates from your spouse, they will clearly mention your spouse name in each email. Therefore, you do not have to update them with your spouse new job.
In the RPRF email, they will ask you some questions regarding updating your family composition, but they will never ask you to update your spouse status in Canada unless his/her open work permit has expired (and I assume it has the same validity date as yours). So no worries at all my friend.

Viva2014 said:Thank you so much Pepe for your message and the time you spent to check my question which was for a long time before. The reason that I wanted to update my spouse status was not because of receiving points, but it was according to PER email. In PER email, it says "if your employment status has been changed, please inform the VO". But, I am not sure what they mean by "your employment status". If it refers to me only, then there is no need to update but if it refers to all members of applications, then I should inform them. I should also add this point that PER email was sent to me and it had only my name at the beginning of the email. Does it mean that "your employment status" only refers to me and not my spouse?
