Yup friend, but I was worried after seeing people's post saying that their results appeared in a couple of days.....

Thats y I started getting agitated!

Also, I have submitted my kids's new passport's scan copy to CIC today, could it be a reason for delay?

I doubt it. Check out the SS brother. Third line update can take a while.

While waiting for the CIC to mail my passport back to me with the visa, I wonder if I can go ahead booking an appointment with an inland landing service. I am in St. John's, Newfoundland, I wonder if there is such an office here.

And if I have informed the CIC via email my change of address, do I still need to update my address in ecas?

You can not make appointment before receiving your visa as they will ask you for the visa number before setting the appointment.

It was mistakenly activated by the post office on Jan 8 the day I bought it and I put it inside the send envelope. But it has not been scanned again before delivered (left at my door). I suspect the Canada post has not accepted the return envelope from immigration officer because their system was already saying it has been received by the post office. :-\ That could answer the question why it has never been scanned in the delivery process. If that is true god knows who delivered the package. ??? May be the officer lives close to my place and dropped it off (I live in Ottawa so that is possible) ;D . That theory answers the question why it has been left at my door cause that is not what Express Canada Post usually do. They leave a notice at door for pick up at post office unless they deliver it to the person and take the signature. I guess this is gonna stay a mystery but I am so happy to Finally receive it and would like to thank every one of you for your valuable help in this forum. : I hope all of those who still waiting get good news soon. (The icon for crossing fingers) I'll land during the weekend at the border and will keep you posted.

The reason y I thought 'my kids new passport' is the reason for delay is we used his old passport for medical exam and he was 1month old in that passport... So, there is no way anyone can compare him with his old ppt pic. So, I thought CIC wanna check his pic uploaded by Doctor/Clinic with the new ppt pic.

Also someone told me that 3rd line wont be updated until the security check is complete..

Anyways, the receptionist told me they could have called us if there is something wrong with the results so... I will wait and see..

I'm so happy to report that I got my CPR in the mail yesterday!!
It was issued on Jan 12th.
I will go flag poling in Pt Roberts (a tiny peninsula that reaches over the border. It's a 30min drive from Vancouver and lots of people go there to receive US mail, which actually travels through Canada to get there...) on Monday. There I can walk across the border and have no waiting time !!

Thanks to all for support!! Special thanks to pepe for explaining lots to me in personal messages .

Thanks for this info bro... That helps... No point of writing to VO then (even after weeks of wait for 3rd line)....
But it does not make sense when VO quotes two different and contradictory things... 1. we will process medicals according to received date (meds/file whatever) 2. ppl with same dates (again med or file) see different time lines for medicals up date Ex. 2 days Vs 2 months....

Mine took about a month to show. It is good practice to confirm with the clinic that they have actually sent the results across. If they have, I see no reason why you should worry. I know, easier said than done.
