I really appreciate if you could help me. According to Canada Express Post tracking system, I know that my PhD stream PR application should be received by CPC office at Sydney, Nova Scotia at Dec 1, 2014. However, I am not still able to track my PR application through CIC online system after more than 1.5 month!. I was wondering it is because that I haven`t received my File No or there might be another reason. I use my UCI No to track but it says there is no information for this UCI No. I was wondering if anyone were able to see its application status (at least the date in which the application package is received by the office) before getting File No?/quote]

It will not be active unless your CC or DD is charged or for some people until you receive the PER (first email of eligibility). Mine came alive 2 weeks after it was charge though I waited for up to 29 days after charge to receive my PER. But I was able to change my address on ECAS before I got the email. Moreover, it takes 2-3 months from application date to receive PER.

Access CAS and you will see the link to change address in the upper right corner of the page

Thank for your response. I tried to log in through CAS with my application number, but it doesn't work. Should I try it later on when my application process starts in Ottawa? and is there any mailing address to send the document to?

Hi try to login with your UCI number, hopefully it will work.

I live in Canada, So I used my UCI- Unique Client Identifier - which will never changed.

No man. I wish I had. Seems like they are slowing down. Hopefully, I will get with the next 1-2 weeks, but who knows what is going on.

While waiting for the CIC to mail my passport back to me with the visa, I wonder if I can go ahead booking an appointment with an inland landing service. I am in St. John's, Newfoundland, I wonder if there is such an office here.

And if I have informed the CIC via email my change of address, do I still need to update my address in ecas?

Guys, To my surprise my friend who just came to my place at 9pm brought in my Canada Post Express Package which was left at my door !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the passport back. No one asked for signature although I insured it for 1000$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
